At Cheap Shimano Store, we stand behind the quality of our Shimano fishing gear. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process for most items within 15 days of delivery.

Angler’s Note:

Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following fishing products once opened:

  • Braid scissors, cutters & knot tools
  • Brag mats & fish measuring equipment

All returned items must be in original condition with tags attached and packaging intact.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Contact Our Team

Email our customer service at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Include:

  • Your order number
  • Product name (e.g., “Shimano Baitcast Combo”)
  • Reason for return/exchange
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

We’ll email you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and shipping instructions within 2 business days. Returns without a RAN cannot be processed.

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Package the item securely in its original packaging and include all accessories. Ship to:

Step 4: Processing Your Return

Once received, we’ll inspect the item within 3-5 business days. You’ll receive email confirmation when your:

  • Refund is processed (see details below)
  • Exchange item is shipped (with tracking information)

Refund Information

Timing:

  • Credit card/PayPal refunds: 5-10 business days after approval (processing time depends on your financial institution)
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If paid with:

  • Visa/MasterCard/JCB: Credited back to your card
  • PayPal: Returned to your PayPal account

Exchange Information

For exchanges:

  • We’ll ship your replacement item once the return is received and inspected
  • Standard shipping rates apply unless the exchange is due to our error
  • If the exchanged item costs more, you’ll be invoiced for the difference
  • If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference

Damaged or Defective Items

If your Shimano fishing gear arrives damaged or defective:

  2. Include photos of the damage/defect and packaging
  3. We’ll arrange a prepaid return label if needed
  4. Receive a replacement or full refund (including shipping costs)

International Returns

For customers outside the US:

  • Return shipping is at customer’s expense
  • Customs fees/duties are non-refundable
  • Processing may take additional time
